Epiphone advertisement (1962) Epiphone Tremotone. Vibrato for the guitar.

"It's new, it's different, try it..."

Early Epiphone advertisement for the Epiphone Tremotone vibrato; initially fitted as standard to the Epiphone Sheraton, Casino and Crestwood Custom. The guitar pictured in this ad is the Epiphone Sheraton.

A little later the Tremotone became optional on the Sheraton and Casino - the 1962 Epiphone catalogue' lists it as optional adding around $45-$55 (depending on model and finish) to the total price of guitars fitted with a Frequensator tailpiece. Both tailpiece options remained available for these models throughout the 1960s.
