Fender 1968 guitar and bass catalogue. Page 7. This is the right hand page of a two page spread. An image of the guitars described is on the previous page. Details of the Fender Telecaster, Fender 12-string and Fender Esquire, along with information on the Telecaster bridge, pickups, and pick selector, or 'tone modification' switch.

The base price for the Esquire/Telecaster models (Blonde finish, right-handed, no tremolo; July 1968) was: $194.50 / $229.50, whilst the Telecaster Custom (sunburst with white binding) was $259.50. The 12-string (sunburst) was $329.50. Options, including Custom DuPont finishes, paisley/floral finish, maple fretboard, Bigsby tremolo and left handed instruments were all available at a slight premium.
