The Bassman was effectively a lower powered version of the Super Bassman on page 58; a 50w - compared to the 100w of the Super Bassman. It had six tubes powering a 2x15" cabinet; fitted with either Fender or JBL D-140 speaker cones.

1970 pricing was as follows:
Bassman (Fender speakers) $565
Bassman (JBL speakers) $712.50
