Fender 1970 guitar and bass catalogue. Page 6. Details of the Fender Custom. This lesser known, and short-lived model was brand new for 1970, and was only ever included in this catalogue. It was placed in US price lists at $299.50, or $329.50 for a left-handed model; remaining unchanged for the next two years. It was omitted from 1973 onwards.

Custom colours were not available on this model.
