Fender Super Six Reverb amplifier

1972 Fender guitar and bass catalogue - page 41

Advertisement announcing the new Quad Reverb and Super Six Reverb amplifiers, from 1972

Details of Fender's Super Six Reverb amplifier. This amp was newly launched for '72, along with the Quad Reverb (see the previous page) and this is the first catalogue appearance. Both were similar design 100w combos, based on the existing Twin Reverb amplifier (including the new master volume/distortion control), only with different speaker configurations. The Super Six, naturally had six 10" speakers, either Fender's own (at $650, 2/72 US price), or JBL D-110F ($1060).
