Fender Jazzmaster

1972 Fender guitar and bass catalogue - page 6

Details of the Fender Jazzmaster from the 1972 catalogue, produced in the second half of that year. Pictured is a Jazzmaster in Blond custom finish. The standard finish was, of course, Sunburst, and by mid-1973 custom finishes were discontinued, leaving only Sunburst. However, at the time of printing, other finishes available were: Lake Placid Blue, Sonic Blue, Olympic White, Black, Candy Apple Red and Natural.

Between 1970 and 1973, the Fender Jazzmaster was priced at $419.50 (Sunburst) rising to $439.50 (other finishes, when available) with an extra $40 premium on left-handed models.
