Gibson ES-335TD control description sheet, 1978

Including details of the new coil-tap switch

A closer look: 1965 ES-335TD | ES-335 controls

Gibson ES-335 specification sheet. Control details of the 1978 model. Gibson printed similar information for many of their guitars in 1978; control panels were getting more and more complicated, and their use was not always especially intuitive. The sheet (reproduced below) for the ES-335TD included details of the coil-tap switch, added to 335s from 1977, aswell as the more familiar volume, tone and pickup selector switch.
