Gibson ES-345TD and ES-355TD-SV

1960 Gibson Guitar and Amplifier Catalogue Page 7

Gibson 1960 guitar and bass catalogue. Page 7. With the sucess of the double cutaway thinline ES-335TD, Gibson decided to produce more guitars in the same vein. First the ES-355TD late in 1958 (although it did not feature in the 1958 Gibson electrics catalogue) and then in 1959 the ES-355TD-SV and ES-345TD guitars. So these two models had never been shown in a Gibson catalogue before this.

The ES-345TD was available in three finishes: Sunburst (as shown here), Cherry, and Natural.

1960 Zone 1, USA list prices: Gibson ES-345TD $365 ($380 cherry finish, $400 natural finish); ES-355TD $550; ES-355TD-SV $600.
