This was the final catalogue appearance of the EB2, as it was phased out; the single pickup EB2 in 1970, whilst the two-pickup EB-2D continued to be shipped in small numbers into 1972. A number of models are listed here; one and two pickup versions, with Sunburst, Cherry and Walnut finishes.
The US zone 1 prices were as follows: EB-2 $450; EB-2D $495 (March 1970), whilst only the EB-2D is listed in the next price list; EB-2D $510 (September 1970).
A hollow-body electric bass that features a Bass/Baritone pushbutton for two different tonal characteristics. This feature allows the bass player to achieve enormous range and versatility... a popular combination with today's groups.
