1980 Gibson guitar, bass and banjo catalogue, page 11

Gibson 1980 guitar and bass catalogue. Page 11. Details of the thin-bodied Gibson Byrdland; one of Gibsons finest jazz archtops, in continual production since 1955. In many ways it can be considered a short-scale thinline version of the gibson L-5.

Again, this electric acoustic was available in Antique Sunburst and Natural finishes, priced at $1699 and $1799 respectively (July 1980 US price list).
