1968 "That Great Gretsch Sound" guitar and amplifier catalog page 8

Page 8 is the last of two pages detailing Gretsch bass guitars. On this page are details of two long scale double cutaway bass guitars: the single pickup Gretsch 6070, (known as the Gretsch electric bass, or Country Gentleman bass), which had been available since 1962, and the newly launched dual pickup Gretsch 6072, only listed in price lists from 1968, and making it's first catalog appearance on this page. Both models have a large 17" body width and gold-plated hardware. Only Shaded Golden Sunburst is listed as a finish option. The April 1968 US list price for these models was $375 and $425 respectively.
