S-100, JS Bass I, JS Bass II

1971 Guild catalogue page 7 - S-100, JS Bass I, JS Bass II

Guild 1971 catalogue page 7.
Details of Guild solid bodies - the S-100 guitar, JS I and II basses

Guild made many changes to their solid-body guitars in the early seventies. Compare this catalogue page to the equivalent page in the 1970 Guild catalogue. The S-100 is shown with new pickups, scratchplate, bridge, tailpiece and colour options. Likewise the JS bass has similar changes - although both catalogues suggest the bass has humbucker pickups, only the 1971 illustration shows this.
