1966 Hagstrom "world's fastest playing neck" guitar catalog

Front cover

Hagstrom 1966 "world's fastest playing neck" guitar catalog. Front cover. Hagstrom guitars and basses with the world's fastest playing neck. The guitar pictured on the front cover is the new version of the Hagstrom F-200 - in fact this guitar is not pictured inside this catalogue. The F-200 shown on page 3 has the older style controls with metal switchplate, and rounded pickups.

The somewhat psychedelic imagery on the front cover underlines the fast-playing Hagstrom neck. This, of course, relates to the "H" expander-stretcher truss rod, which allows a thin neck with a low action.

You must let your fingers literally fly up and down this revolutionary neck... a rhythmic miracle from HAGSTROM
