The Super Meteor was an Italian-built Vox, manufactured at the E.M.E Vox plant in Recanati, for the American market. It was simply a Vox Meteor, with additional spring action vibrato.

The following description comes from the 1966 Vox catalogue

True spring action vibrato; rosewood fingerboard; hand bound neck; adjustable master bridge channel; individual string bridges.
