The body is laminated and was obviously exposed to heat and cold weather as it came from Billings, MT. There are cracks in the finish, but this is from expansion and contraction of the wood. The glue joints under the finish are stronger than the actual wood, so the hairline cracks do not affect the playability. The truss rod has been adjusted, the frets have been leveled and polished. I did the intonation, so while I did stretch the new strings and play the guitar, it will fall out of tune until the strings are acclimated. I've done a lot of work on this guitar to make it playable. The pickups all test correctly with a multimeter and the 5 way switch works perfectly. I re-soldered wires and replaced others. The output jack has been tightened and has good connectivity. no crackles, no shorts. Tuning machines were removed, taken apart, greased and re-installed. You'll eventually replace them. Questions?
