Gibson advertisement (1966) Kenny Burrell

Another in Gibsons series of adverts featuring a jazz guitarist who plays a Gibson electric acoustic guitar. Although these guitars only represented a tiny proportion of Gibsons sales, they built Gibsons reputation for incredibly fine guitars.

The artwork is by Canadian artist Neil Boyle who was used widely by a number of guitar manufacturers in the middle 1960s.
