Guitar makers have advertised in music magazines such as Down Beat, Guitar Player and very many more. Like O. S , their low end acoustic guitars were all birch but by the Seventies (as Harmony approached its own demise), the quality of tone woods were upgraded to spruce tops and mahogany bodies. Sound quality improved as well
