The US list price for the EDS-1275 was at $1429 in May 1978. It sold very well in the late 1970s - 288 instruments shipped in '78 - a very large number by double neck standards. This catalog lists three finish options for this guitar: Sunburst, Walnut and White - unfortunately shipping figures for this model are not split by finish. By the time of the next (1980) catalog, only Walnut was listed.
