Matsumoku closed gear strip tuners (mid 1960s - mid 1970s)

These tuners were fitted to a very wide range of electric guitars produced at the Matsumoku guitar factory, Matsumoto Japan; from the mid/late 1960s to the mid 1970s. This facility produced guitars for export around the world, and these tuners appeared on guitars branded: Angelica (5002), Aria (5002T, 5102T), Aria Diamond (1202T, 1302T), Commodore (N177 / N25), Conquerer, Conrad, Domino (Dawson 40E2), Electra (2221), Epiphone (5102T / EA-250), Lyle (5102T), Raven, Stewart, Univox (HR-2 / Coily), Ventura (V1001, V1002, V1400, V1500) - and most likely many, many more. more

Matsumoku closed gear individual tuners (late 1960s - mid 1970s)

As fitted to a variety of electric guitars produced at the Matsumoku guitar factory, Matsumoto Japan from the mid/late 1960s to the mid 1970s. Available with gold or chrome plating. The gold-plated version typically appeared on Les Paul Custom style solid body guitars such as the Jedson Jet 4444, Shaftesbury 3400 and Univox The Mother U1982, whilst chrome-plated tuners were fitted to the Dorado 5988 and many others. more

These tuners were fitted to a varity of electric guitars produced at the Matsumoku guitar factory, Matsumoto Japan from the mid/late 1960s to the mid 1970s. Typically solid body guitars 1802T style guitars: Aria Diamond (1802T), Epiphone (1802T / ET-270), Eros (9525), Fandel (H-F702T) - and most likely others. more

Matsumoku open gear individual tuners with plastic buttons (mid-late 1970s)

These tuners were fitted to several (generally Gibson-styled) electric guitars produced by Matsumoku during the mid-late 1970s such as the Kimbara Les Paul copies, but also guitars by Arbiter, Eros, and many likely others. more
