Guild advertisement (1977) New Generation of Solid Bodies By Guild

United Kingdom Guild advertisement for two new solid body models, the S-300 guitar and single pickup B-301 bass.

This advertisement was placed in the June 1977 issue of Beat Instrumental magazine. These were, of course, the all-mahogany versions of these guitars; the B-301A and S-300A, made from Ash followed towards the tail end of 1977.

First in Guild's new generation of solid body guitars and basses. Not just a superficial redesign, but a complete rethinking of the instrument and its function in the hands of the artist-player
