Guild 1978 catalogue page 5

Guild 1978 catalogue page 5. Once again this page shows two more jazz acoustic electric guitars, the X-175 and the CE-100D. Although the CE-100D pictured has a (slightly darker) mahogany neck, it is listed here as having a three-piece maple neck for the first time. As described in the 1975 Guild catalogue, the neck is still long (25 5/8") scale, although this was back to 24 3/4" before the final appearance in the 1982 Guild catalogue.
