British Vox advert from 1966. In the mid 1960s Vox equipment was widely used by many of the big acts of the day, and this advert underlines this fact; John Lennon uses a Vox continental organ, Sandy Shaw uses a Vox PA, and Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones introduces the Wyman bass that was built especially for him. Probably the first signature bass guitar.
