Hofner 4572 and 4578

Hofner 1967 catalogue page 7 - thinline electric acoustics (cont)

1967 Hofner electric guitar and bass catalogue - page 7. Details of two Hofner thinline models: the 4578 with florentine cutaway, and 4572 with Venetian-style cutaways. Each model came in a number of variants, each with it's own model code. The 4578 was available in Sunburst or Blonde finish, and with or without tremolo. Model 4572 is only listed in Sunburst finish, but with or without the tremolo.

Model 4578 is, of course, one of the new guitars with in-built effects, fuzz and treble boost.

I believe I have a 4572/E2 model I bought new in 1977. Anyone know the value of the guitar? And does anyone know where I can get pickguard supports?
