Epiphone 1961 full line catalog, page 12. Details of the Epiphone Pacemaker and Rivoli Bass Amplifier. This is the final page of Epiphone amplifiers in this catalog.
The Epiphone Pacemaker (EA50) is a small, simple 4 1/2w amp with a single 8" speaker and just a volume control; the EA50T (controls shown) is also fitted with a tremolo function, and therefore a tremolo frequency (speed) control.
The Epiphone Rivoli bass amp (EA70) is the only dedicated bass model at this time and has a power rating of 30w driving a single 12" speaker. This would soon change: by the time of the 1961 Epiphone catalogue entry, the power output would be reduced slightly, and a larger 15" speaker employed.
