Travel back in time with this Roy Smeck five-string banjo. Made by the late, great Harmony company in Chicago. Probably made in the late '50s or early '60s. Beautiful floral design bird's eye maple resonator which measures 12 11 / 16" in outside diameter and 12" inside diameter. Colors in the greenery are beige, orange, green and brown. The neck cutout measures 2 1 / 16" across at its widest point and 15 / 16" in depth(note the contour of the opening) and has interior blocking.
