Early UK advertisement for Kimbara guitars. At this point (December 1973) the Kimbara range only included acoustic guitars, with electrics added in late 1974.
Kimbara was a mid-priced house brand of Fletcher, Coppock and Newman.
KIMBARA instruments are a complete range of Classical and Folk quality guitars. In the top price bracket are instruments for the teacher and the soloist and the same basic specification is inherent for the economy student models. Every guitar in the range has fan struts, concert width neck, nickel silver T-section frets and is accurately adjusted. Timbers are kiln dried and air seasoned in a humidity controlled plant. There are 16 models from around £24.50 to £97.00. Every instrument is made by craftsmen and is a credit to Japanese guitar manufacture at its finest.
