Only made for about a year around 1965 by Eko in Italy, this one is a player and a looker. Lots of honesty earned checking. Sounds great a feels great. Currently strung with nylon strings. Includes the original chipboard case. The handle has been broken and repaired. I would not trust the handle, but the case makes a perfect shipping case. More Chrome than a 50s Cadillac. I believe this guitar to be an early 1960s Japaneese (Matsumoku), copy of an Italian (Eko) model X27 guitar. This guitar is in great shape for it's age. The chrome pick guard is shinny. The tailpiece is unusual in that it flips forward to give access to load the strings. Most of these I have seen are missing this top chrome cap of the tailpiece. 1960??s Vintage EKO Leather Guitar Strap Italy. Strap is in good condition made in Italy. Measures 48?? in length from end to end at current setting. Thin area of strap is 5 / 8?? wide and padding area is 2?? in width.

Cool vintage made in Japan project guitar!
This guitar seems to be in good shape but is missing a few parts. It is missing the 2 pickups, a spring and arm for the tremolo / vibrato, and 1 out of 2 nuts on the back of the headstock that holds the string tree

Here is a really cool and pretty rare BLACK Eko 700 / V3. This is an Italian-made guitar from the early 60's. The 700 was their top model and this is the 3 pickup version.
