Lovely tone and action

Its near on immaculate but has a few marks around but the worst part i cant get the sound to pick up. When you plug it in and turn the pots we get some signal crackles so i'm not sure if the bridge pick up has failed or a wire has come loose and i simply don't have time to rebuild or order parts.

I bought this many years ago from ebay. It was described as a 1970's Kimbara Stratocaster with Fender decals; the decals and neck plate were added by the previous owner so I have no provenance as to its Kimbara origins, although it appears to be the same as other natural finish Kimbara strats I have seen advertised.
