Based on my research these guitars were made from 72 through the late 70's. The Japanese Serial numbers either have no real meaning or none that I can find. The versions with the blue labels on the inside appear to be eariler models the later ones switched to a white label. Vintage, made in Japan. Solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides. SOLID playing vintage instrument with HUGE tone. Neck is straight, bridge is flat, tuners are solid. There is a very small chip at the back of the headstock and a very small dent at the lower bout, see pics. Had to order special inserts for the guitar to fit tight in a jumbo hardshell case(see pics)
