Some manufacturers advertised widely (Guild, Gibson, Fender) but many more didn't and adverts are few and far between. Here are some of my favourite ads out of the ones i've seen. This model was an import from Japan in 1985 during the 3-year period when Fender didn't even have a USA factory. It's very much a reflection of the more modern and forward-looking vibe of the mid-80s, and was made at the famous Fujigen factory
