Here we have a very fine 1965 Gibson Melody Maker D 2 pickup guitar with a Maestro Vibrola. This is my favorite version of the series of 60's Melody Makers. The guitar is all original. The machine heads were swapped out and returned to original with just some extra pictured very small screw holes on the back of the headstock and slightly larger holes for the non original tuner rods to fit through the headstock. Killer sounding pedal. It was modded at some point. The mods are written on schematic inside pedal. Converted to 9volt battery and 1 / 4?? jacks added
The pedal is intermittent. When it works, it sounds great. There??s something loose or touching inside. When I move circuitboard it comes back on. for this reason, the pedal is being sold as is. I just had it working a few weeks ago and playing through it

One of the best no none sense guitars ever made!
This is also one of the cleanest 1960s Melody Makers that I have had the pleasure of selling!
Original case to compliment its preserved nature.
I think the handle on the case may of been changed but apart from that we are good to go!
Theres not even much laquer checking too.
This is really a great guitar which I am very tempted to keep!
