This is a Harmony-built Silvertone, model H833 in very good, fully original condition. It recently had a professional neck reset, so it is ready to play for another 50 years. The original finish shows light normal nicks and dings and some mild finish checking, consistent with its age. There's a couple of semi-deep scratches in the finish on the bottom rim that I am pointing to. There are no cracks in the wood. In fact, there are no cracks anywhere. The neck pickup is really far from the strings. It needs some kind of riser. The bridge pickup has a bit of foam under it. That??s what the neck pickup needs. Now this is a cool old Monterey. Hard to find them in blonde. It plays great with nice low easy action. The tuners and bridge were upgraded at some point, pickguard is a replacement.
