This is a bit of a funny amp as far as its history goes. They apparently only made these Mk4 amps for a few years but were almost always Called a ??Dominator A P?? which stood for ??All Purpose?? apparently, good for both bass and guitar playing or just ??Dominator 45??. I??m finding out from forums that to have a Reverb version of this amp is a bit of a rarity.

Here we have an wem westminster solid state amp I have plugged it in and turned it on and played a guitar through the amp and it produces sound the volume button I had to tap on it for the sound to come through as it should. iam assuming by the style this is 60s 70s but I can't find another one anywhere to gage age wattage value etc

This came out of a WEM dominator that was broken for spares, perfect if you have an early seventies WEM dominator and want a WEM spec driver. This has some water stains and some excess doping was spilt on the cone at the factory - this is purely cosmetic and quite common with Celestions

This classic WEM ER40 solid state head is now ready to roll. Capacitors replaced where necessary, operating voltage set and replaced the preamp BC108 transistors for low noise BC109's. The general tone of this amp still sounds true to the original despite the transistor upgrade. The handle has been replaced at some time in its life. A couple of the control knobs are not original and the front panel has signs of wear. It is over 50 years old
