This is a Gretsch Bigsby (B6). It first came to our family in the 60's. My brother told me he took it off of a Gretsch Viking guitar from way back then and was put on a Gibson ES 125 where it has spent most of it's life so far. It's in the very rare original gold.
The spring, although from the 60's as well, is not original. The mounting screws are not included. The felts on the back are in good shape. It has nice patina. The originals are not all that common

This is an original Gretsch Corvette guitar husk from early-mid 60's. This was the two pickup version with the Burns vibrato. The non-original hardshell case in the pictures is included. It has the older style 3x3 tuner headstock. 1 47 inches is the width at the nut. The neck is .67 inch deep at the first fret and .76 deep at the 12th. This is a vintage Gretsch 7628 Committee guitar, made in the DeQueen, Arkansas plant, circa 1978. The Committee was a bright spot in the Baldwin era - one piece maple / walnut construction with walnut body wings and a rosewood board, these guitars were well-crafted, nicely detailed, and they play like tanks. They were made from 1977-1980

1963-64 Gretsch Chet Atkins Nashville 6120 Project Husk (Parts not included)

This is an original Gretsch Nashville husk, circa 1963-64. It has the older style headstock logo without the plate. The frets show wear and they're rusty from frets 15-22. The rust can be buffed out. There's fingerboard wear, but nothing terrible considering the age. The neck binding has mostly come off. The body binding is pretty good for vintage Gretsch. The husk played well with good action when parts were on it. The truss rod works as it should. The husk weighs about 4 lbs. 9 oz. Original ... more

The story of this one is unclear. Family thinks my grandfather bought it at a pawn shop on the east coast in the 70s / 80s. My uncle played guitar, but don't think he really used it

Overall the guitar is in very good shape for its age. I??m not sure the exact year where the infamous Gretsch binding rot problems subside, but binding on this is in good shape and shows no such signs (the neck binding has suffered from commonplace cracking and has been stabilized).
